New Technology Gadgets

Is new techology a boon or a curse? We've all heard about navigation devices that led users into trouble, but does that mean we should throw the baby out with the bath water. Probably not, but with new technology comes new responsibility, and without education, such responsibilities are difficult to discern. The list below provides information about these matters:

Sports MP3 Players
When my friend bought a sports MP3 player, I thought she was crazy. If there is anyone who is more accident prone than me, it is her. Although she is an outstanding athlete when she is not on the bench due to injury, those periods are rarer than with most people. She has had a broken arm, a broken leg, several broken fingers, and a fractured skull. The sport MP3 player seem like just one more thing that she could break.

Radar Detectors
One of my best friends practically swears by his radar detector. He has had it ever since high school. When he first bought it, it was a big deal. Police Scanners
All last Saturday night, and I was sitting at home listening to a police radio scanner. My good buddy Joe was with me. We often sit around and listen to police scanners radio. You see, both of us are very interested in the practice of law enforcement. We have both been hassled by the cops multiple times because of the way we look. We dress in ripped jeans, have multiple piercing, and color our hair in purples and oranges. Although I realize how much work police jobs can be for some people, I think that the power goes to their heads and they often abuse their rights.

Garmin V Deluxe
Nothing stinks more than getting lost! There have been several occasions in my life where I've found myself driving, but clueless as to where I was. I'm sure you can relate. And if you're like most of us, you probably pulled the trusty map out of the glove compartment to get an idea of where you actually were. Sadly you then realized that the map was a general U.S. map and had no details of the small town you're in. Yeah, that's when things really get fun.
